The Australian Car Wash Association introduced the Australian Car Wash Hall of Fame Awards in 2018. It is the industry and Association’s highest honour.
The award recognises those car wash professionals, operators, and suppliers who have made a lasting impact on the professional car wash industry. Selection is based on candidate attributes in the areas of Leadership, Collaboration, Industry Support, Longevity and Innovation.

This year’s inductees were announced at Car Wash Show Australia 2026, and are…Neil Fox and Robert Anson.
Neil Fox is a highly respected and longstanding contributor to the Australian car wash industry. His career reflects a sustained commitment to both the car wash business and the industry that supports it. His leadership during COVID-19, more than a decade of Association service, tenure as President, support for fellow operators and strengthening of Australia’s international industry relationships have all contributed to the development of a stronger and more connected sector.
Neil has consistently been willing to give his time, experience and knowledge for the benefit of others. His contribution reflects the qualities of leadership, collaboration, industry support, longevity and innovation that underpin the Australian Car Wash Association Hall of Fame.
Robert Anson’s contribution to the Australian car wash industry spans leadership, collaboration, industry support, longevity and innovation.
From helping establish ACWA and serving as its inaugural President, to creating the first Australian Car Wash Convention and advocating for greater water efficiency, Rob has made a lasting contribution to the development of the industry.
His decades of experience as an operator, willingness to share knowledge and commitment to bringing people together have helped strengthen the Australian car wash community.
