Whatever style of wash you prefer, a commercial car wash provides great value for money when you consider the cost of hoses, detergents, chemicals, vacuums and everything else you need to clean your car.
Going to a car wash is as affordable as going out for coffee. No more messing around getting out the bucket and hose, it’s quick and easy with everything at the car wash for you to use.
If you like to do it yourself, try a self-serve bay and you can take as little or as much time as you want.
If you want to stay in the car and keep clean and dry, drive into an automatic bay or car wash tunnel where everything happens around you.
And if you want it all done for you while you grab a latte, a full-service hand wash will make sure your car looks brand new.
Where to Wash My Car
If you want to help us protect the environment, use a commercial car wash where all water is recycled or directed into the sewer system for treatment.
The car washes listed here are ACWA members, and those with a water droplet are rated 5-star water efficient under the Car Wash Water Saver Rating Scheme.
(Note this exciting feature is coming soon)
Don’t be a “Home Driveway Car Washer”
When you wash your car on the driveway or in the street, the polluted, soapy water flows into the nearest stormwater drain. And from there, straight into the local creek, river or sea-shore without any cleaning or filtering. Check Out ACWA’s award winning Stormwater Pollution Educational Awareness Campaign.
What is the Water Saving Rating Scheme and Why Does it Matter?
The Water Saver Rating Scheme enables car wash operators to be recognised for eco-friendly car washing services. It is a national standard, approved by Smart Approved WaterMark, Australia's federal water efficiency label.
This program helps car wash operators educate customers about the eco-friendly benefits of commercial car washing. It also provides an opportunity for those as concerned as we are about the environment, to wash their cars responsibly.
